2010 Feng Shui Annual Flying Chart!

For those who are not yet familiar with it. Flying Star is base on the Lo Shu Feng Shui.

The Lo Shu is compose of a square with 9 small square with a corresponding numbers which are numbers 1-9. The numbers are always in such a way that when you add them whether vertically or horizontally it will always add up to the sum of 15. It is very much the same with Sudoku. Only the Lo Shu was discovered and formulated more than 7,000 years ago.

It is believed that the Lo Shu was revealed by a Mystical Dragon Tortoise to a revered Monk. This became one of the basis or theoretical guide of Feng Shui. Each number is has a designated star that corresponds to a certain luck or affliction which is called flying star.

It’s important for us to be familiar with this so that we’ll know whether we benefit from a specific auspicious star or we are afflicted with a negative star.

Let me present to you the 2010 Metal tiger Annual Flying Chart:

1. The Number One (1) which is also know as the White Star/Victory Star/Mentor Star flies to the West.

This star bring good career luck and helps you overcome obstacles. This also brings in the opportunity and mentor luck. If your room/office/work area is in the west, it will be good for you to enhance this luck by putting a picture of a successful person that you admire, or by putting an image of the Great Happy Buddha.

2. The Number Two (2) Star plagues the Northeast.

I say plagues the Northeast because the Number Two Star brings in a lot of health problems, that’s why its also called the Illness Star. People whose bedroom, or office, or work area is in the Northeast section had to be careful. This star is specially bad for the bedroom. To counter this star it will help to put Wu Lou/Holy Gourd beside your bed. While its not as bad in the office it will still help if you can also place a smaller Wu Lou or Holy Gourd on your table. You have to know also that while your office or work table is not in the Northeast section but while working you face Northeast, it will be very good if you can also place a Wu Lou or wear the Sau word, or a Peach Fruit pendant.

3. The Number Three (3) Star which is also known as the Quarrelsome Star lands on the South.

What does it mean? It means that if your bedroom happens to be on the South part of the house, you’ll find yourself getting into more arguments and/or people who are backbiting/back fighting you. To counter this it will be nice for you have a Fireball in your bedroom and also it will help a lot if you wear a Fireball pendant. In the office it will be good to have a Fireball on your table and a image of a Rooster on your table. The Rooster is to help you from office politicking.

4. The Number Four (4) Stars flies to the North section.

If your bedroom is in the North section of the house, you’ll definitely have a blooming love life. This is because the Number Four Star is also known as the Romance Star. However, this may also bring in a third party into the relationship if you’re a couple whose bedroom is in the North section of the house. For single people, to enhance this luck, get a pair of Mandarin Ducks, preferably in pink and place it in your room. For married couple to prevent a third party in your relationship get an image of a Rooster w/ Fan, or if you can’t find this, get an image of a Rooster and buy a wood fun and place it at the foot of the Rooster. In the office this would mean that your relationship with your officemates will be more harmonious. To enhance this in the office it will be nice for you to pink crystal point on your table.

5. The Number Five (5) Stars flies into the Southwest.

This is the most fear star of all, because this brings in the Five Yellow Star! For those who are not familiar with this star please refer to my blog last Janury 21, 2010 entitled ‘Understanding Tai Sui/Grand Duke Jupiter, Five Yellow Star and San Sha/3 Killings’. Briefly put this star brings severe misfortune. So if your bedroom, office, work area happens to be in the Southwest my first recommendation is for you to vacate this area, don’t make any renovations, and avoid playing loud music, or having parties in this area. If vacating the area/room is not possible make sure you place a Five-Element Pagoda. If you can get one that has a mantra on it the better. For people whose bedroom, office, work area or even if you are working facing the Southwest it will be nice to wear a 5-Element Pagoda pendant or carry the Five-Element Pagoda keychain. As mentioned in my previous blogs I prefer the pendant over the keychain.

6. The Number Six (6) Star also known as the Big Auspicious or Heaven Star flies to the East.

The stars brings in a lot of windfall luck or unexpected luck, on top of that it brings in the star of authority luck which manifest by making the person who benefits in this luck being more powerful and enjoying respect. For houses whose main door faces the East will also greatly benefit from this star. To enhance this luck place the image of the Eight (8) Immortal Gods in the East section of your house, and office or work area if they are in the East section of the building. It is not advisable to put the image of the Eight Immortal Gods in your bedroom. However, in replacement of the 8 Immortal Gods one can instead place the 8 Auspicious Objects or Ruyi, both as an item place in the bedroom or worn as a pendant.

7. The Number Seven (7) Star known as the Robbery Star afflicts the Southeast.

All the Southeast bedroom, offices, work area, and specially houses whose main door faces the Southeast is afflicted with this the number 7 or robbery star which brings loss, violence, and bloodshed. People who are in these rooms or house may be vulnerable to being robbed off from idea, opportunity, or maybe cheated which may result to financial loss. At its worst, the star may even bring physical danger. It is very important to counter this star by placing a double – horned rhinoceros or rhinoceros with elephant in the afflicted areas. People who stays in these rooms or houses can also wear a double-horned rhinoceros pendant.

8. The Number Eight (8) Star also known as the Prosperity or Wealth Star lands in the center of the home or office.

If your room or office is in the center, expect a lot of wealth or prosperity luck specially if you enhance this star properly. It will be nice to put 9 Crystals Balls in this area or an auspicious water fall. However, you have to make sure that this area doesn’t house the kitchen, wash area, or toilet because it will draw away all the auspiciousness that the star brings and makes it really bad for you.

9. Lastly the Number Nine (9) Star, which is also known Sovereign Prosperity Star, flies into the Northwest.

This star brings recognition and permanent wealth to the people whose rooms, office, or workplace are in the Northwest. If the main door of your house is also in the Northwest it will bring recognition and permanent wealth luck. Permanent wealth luck means this is the time for you to look for a job or change career, or put up your own business. It is not something that you get overnight, but it is something that’s may help generate regular income or bigger income. To enhance this luck it will be nice to display images of the Wealth deities. You can also wear the mystic knot to enhance this luck if you are occupying a room in this section of the house or office.

Marlene Aguilar Practices Feng Shui. What Happened?

I got a call from one of my client. She said, ‘I know Marlene Aguilar, she believes in Feng Shui, and she has several Kuan Yin(s) and other protection deities in her house. What happened? How could this happen to Jason Ivler?’

I’m not sure whether it’s proper for me to even answer her question publicly. It’s one thing to give unsolicited advice to celebrities or politicians who are ‘public figures’ but it’s another thing to give unsolicited advice to private citizens like Marlene Aguilar and Jason Ivler who was only forced into being public figures because of unfortunate incidents.

But I also would like to take this opportunity to clarify some thing. Feng Shui is just one aspect of our luck or fate. It actually involves three things, which is called Tien Ti Ren or Heaven’s Luck, Earth’s Luck, and Man’s Luck.

Tien or Heaven’s Luck is something that is already pre-destined when we are born. I believe that there’s always to path for this and that would depend on us which of the two paths we go through in life.

Ti or Earth’s Luck is Feng Shui. This is something that is within our control. This include our time of birth, name, place we live-in, and even colors we like.

Lastly, Ren or Man’s Luck is the things we do with our life. It is the karma we make for ourselves. This is something that’s within our control. No matter how much we believe in Feng Shui it’s useless if we don’t work, or if we continue to engage in negative things and earn negative karma.

I’m not here to judge either Marlene Aguilar or Jason Ivler, because I’m sure there are a lot more things that we don’t see on TV. To add to this, I was also told that Marlene Aguilar loves antiques and that in fact her door was from old church or house. This could have contributed to the negative things that are happening to them because antiques carried a lot of negative chi unless we conduct a cleansing ritual to it. Furthermore, I also heard in the news that Jason Ivler’s bedroom is in the basement of their house, and in Feng Shui this is really bad place. Basement is usually devoid of positive chi unless specifically cured with Feng Shui.

Just when I was about to finish writing this blog article, I got a call from a friend in ABS-CBN telling me about Shaina Magdayao and John Lloyd Cruz and that they are dating each other. For a while I thought she’d ask me to do a Feng Shui reading on them. Hmmm…I’m glad she didn’t. ☺

2010 Chinese Animal Sign General Feng Shui Forecast! (Part 2)

As mentioned in my previous blogs the year is sorely lacking of the water element, therefore, wealth might be elusive. In fact, I seem to get an affirmation of this matter when this morning I was going around shopping for a bank that can give me a good interest rate for my dollar savings. It proved to be really a tiring task, the only one who was able to give me an interesting rate is when I went to Citibank Philippines in T. Morato, but even them suggested that I bring and deposit my money in Citibank Singapore, which at the moment, base on my scouting, has the most competitive rate. Nevertheless, let me clarify, that as mentioned, wealth will be on hand with the people who are creative, hardworking, and aggressive.

My last blog discuss the general Feng Shui forecast for the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon and Horse. Let me talk about the other six animal sign.

THE SNAKE:
This year heaven smiles upon the people born under the sign of the Snake. This means that compared to the other signs, Snake born people will find it relatively easy to get anything that they truly aspire for. However, the Robbery and Quarrelsome star also affects the Snake. This means that Snake born people will need to be extra careful not only with their material things but also with their ideas. On top of that, they should also try to be more patient because they also have the propensity to get in to a fight, whether this is verbal or actual physical fight. But this happens to a lesser degree as compared with that of the people born under the sign of the Horse.

This year it will be nice if Snake born people will display the Double Horned Rhinoceros in the Southeast section of their house, or room, or office. The Snake can also benefit from carrying an Night Protection Amulet. I have something that I personally design depending on the year and month of birth. However, for those who doesn’t know me or unable to personally consult me, it will also be helpful if you can get a Kuan Kong pendant, it can be made of gold (as a jewelry), natural stones, wood, but don’t get anything that’s made of plastic. For Catholics or Christians who prefer not to wear anything that’s of Buddhist-Taoist symbols, you can get an image of St. James or Senor Santiago or St. Bede. St. Michael, who is also famous for protection, I believe, base on my research, works best against sickness and evil spirits.

THE GOAT/SHEEP:
Sheep born people finds themselves in direct conflict with the Tiger and they are also afflicted with the Five Yellow Killing Star. This is going to be a very challenging year for all Sheep born people. They will also find themselves trying to work harder just to maintain what they already have. People born under the sign of the Sheep will also have to be careful about their health and safety, this is still due to the effects of Five Yellow.

I highly recommend that all people born under the sign of the Goat/Sheep carry a Five-Element Pagoda keychain and/or wear the Five-Element Pagoda pendant. It will also be very good for them to put a Five-Element Pagoda on the Southwest sector of their home or room. For those who has the opportunity to consult with me, I can make a Tai Sui Protection Charm that will be specifically design base on the person’s birthday. It will also be nice if one can wear an Om Mani Pad Me Hum pendant or bracelet. Lastly, carrying a Tibetan Prayer Wheel either as a pendant will also be very beneficial.

THE MONKEY:
Being in direct conflict with the Tai Sui is really bad, and for this year, unfortunately, the Monkey finds itself in such a position. This will prove to be a very challenging year for people born under the sign of the Monkey. But luckily for Monkey born people, their inner chi are naturally strong therefore Monkey born people will be able to cope and go through the hardship brought about by being in direct conflict with the Tai Sui, they just have to make sure that they continuously try to be positive about things.

Those born under the sign of the Monkey who are also into business should be extra careful, because some people would naturally want to ‘steal’ their business. Also they should try to be more careful in what they say as not to offend other people which might also lead to problems.

One of the most powerful amulet against this concerns is the Tai Sui Protection Charm. Again if its not available it will also be nice if they can wear a Chong Kwei pendant and the 5-Element Pagoda pendant. It will also be nice if they can wear a Kuan Yin charm.

THE DOG:
This year the auspicious stars finds its way to the sector of the Dog. However, because the life essence of the Dog is weak, they will only benefit from this star in a very minimal way. However, because of this dog born people will have a series of small but very meaningful success or celebrations and because the Tiger is the Dog’s ally, the year will be nice to the people born under the sign of the Dog, just as long as you don’t get overcome by the Dog’s weak life essence. To help counter this it will be nice if Dog born people wear the 9-Eye DZI charm that helps gain ‘windfall luck’. Wearing it as a bracelet with citrine or clear quartz or jade/green stone will be great, but it will be better if one wears it as a pendant, and if this made of metal (gold/silver) with semi-precious stones even if only zircons as long as its really shiny it will be so much the better.

It might be also good if one can wear a mystic knot charm or pendant. If this is made of gold/silver with semi-precious stones or even shiny high grade zircon it will be better. Mystic Knot helps ‘activate’ lucks that may be a little elusive.

THE ROOSTER:
One of the luckiest sign this year is the Rooster. Rooster born people can look forward to a very auspicious year filled with achievements both in their personal and professional aspects of their life. If a Rooster continues to be humble, they will get the recognition that they deserve, on top of that, they will see advancement with their career.

To make sure that luck will continuously be showered upon the Rooster, it will be nice if they can make an offering to Kuan Yin every month. For non-Buddhist or non-Taoist Rooster they can offer flowers to the Virgin Mary every month and/or donate a small amount of money to charity. It will also be good if they can carry a Tibetan Prayer Wheel to continue to enhance their luck.

THE PIG/BOAR:
Kris Aquino is one of the most famous Filipino celebrity born under the sign of the Pig. So I guess a lot of you will be asking what’s in store for the Pig this year considering that it seems like Kris Aquino started her personal life with so much negative chi that even brought her some controversy involving Mayen Austria, and that also lead to what, as of the time of this writing, she termed as temporary separation with legal husband James Yap.

I need to be able to see Kris Aquino’s Bazi Chart for me to be able to make a complete and more accurate reading for what’s in store with her, and to be able to shed some insight as to why she seems to always get into personal problems like her husband’s involvement with Hope Centeno.

However, if you are to base it on my general forecast, this also seems to be a very good year for people born under the sign of the Pig. They will experience enormous satisfaction and fulfillment both in their personal and professional/career life, this is also largely because the Tiger is an ally of the Pig.

However, the Pig will have to take care of its reputation. They have the possibility to get into some sort of a ‘scandal’ or reputation concern this year. This might be a little align with what’s happening to Kris Aquino this year, on a side note, only time can tell whether her appearance on The Buzz will help her or destroy her reputation and make the Philippine Entertainment industry a little bit more interesting.

To help counter this reputation concern it will be really good if people born under the sign of the Pig will place a 9-Rings Sword in the Northwest sector of your home, office, or bedroom. Further to that it will also be good if you can wear a 9-Rings Sword pendant, but this can be a little challenging and it took me 2 years to find one and it cost me more about forty thousand pesos. As a replacement, one can also wear an Om Mani Padme Hum charm.

2010 Year of the Metal Tiger Feng Shui Forecast

Checking the yearly forecast has been customary for a lot of us, especially for those who believes in Feng Shui.

As early as November, I’ve been getting a lot text messages and email inquiring about what the year of the Tiger has in store for us. I would like to share with you a text message sent to me by one of my client.

She asks: “Since it is the Year of the Metal Tiger, some Chinese would consider it to be the Year of the Golden Tiger, suggesting wealth, while others would call it the Year of the White Tiger, denoting bad luck. What do you have to say on this matter? Will it be a good year or a bad one?”

The reason I’m sharing here question is because I think she pose two of the most common question, but before I answer it I would like to clarify that the 2010 Metal Tiger doesn’t start until Feb 14, 2010 which is the date of the Chinese New Year this year, but we will start feeling the effects of the Metal Tiger starting on Feb. 4.

Now to answer her question…

If you look at the Feng Shui chart and element you’ll notice that it only consists of 5 elements, which are Metal, Fire, Wood, Water, and Earth. There is no such thing as Gold or White; therefore technically speaking there is no such thing as Golden Tiger or White Tiger. However, Chinese normally associate metal with gold because of their belief, which is also widely accepted in Feng Shui, that gold enhances a person’s luck or adds to the ‘potency’ of a lucky object. On the other hand, White, which is also sometimes associated with Metal, was used by Chinese to connote a bad year ahead because White is the color of death for Chinese.

It’s not easy to answer the question whether it is going to be a good or bad year, because the 2010 Paht Chee Chart of the Metal Tiger is extremely interesting, at first glance one will say that it is an extremely difficult year because the Tiger whose earthly branch represents the wood is in direct conflict with the heavenly branch of the year which is metal. Those who are familiar with Feng Shui knows that these two elements are in direct contrast with each other. To further add to the problem the whole Paht Chee chart for the year lacks the element of water, even the hidden heavenly stems of the year lacks water. If the water element is missing this could only mean that there is a complete drying up of resources. Growth in all aspect of life should not be expected or will prove to be very challenging.

Nevertheless, there are two heavenly stems that are of the earth element that shows that the year does not lack wealth opportunities. This may seem conflicting with the first statement but what this says is that wealth will be present to those who are creative, aggressive, and hard working. However, this is not like a new kind of wealth but more wealth that stems from what you already have.

What is Feng Shui?

I think Feng Shui is synonymous to Chinese New year or the Lunar New year, and it is also synonymous to the Chinese. I once heard a Filipino friend said that Feng Shui must work because a lot of his Chinese friends are really rich. The statement is not exactly accurate because most rich Filipino-Chinese do work hard for their money and there are Filipino-Chinese who are not financially rich, but I do know that a lot of Filipino-Chinese do practice Feng Shui thus it helps them with their everyday lives.

Feng Shui has reach a certain popularity and a lot of people has some understanding of what Feng Shui really is but to be quite honest its difficult to say what Feng Shui really is.

Nevertheless, in the years I’ve studied about Feng Shui I came to describe Feng Shui as an art of ancient science that has its roots in Mainland China. It is a study of how the Chinese view the Universe, where all things here on Earth are categorized into five elements (water, earth, wood, fire, metal) that take on an implication with energy or chi, w/c in turn can be categorized as positive or negative chi.

Feng Shui’s literal translation is wind and water.

While certain mysticism surrounds the practice of Feng Shui, I only attribute this to the fact that a lot of things involve in the practice of Feng Shui has been lost. A lot of the books either didn’t survive time and/or were intentionally destroyed, especially, since a lot of Emperors would like Feng Shui to be exclusive to them. On top of that, Mao Zedong also banned the practice of Feng Shui and had a number of books destroyed and Feng Shui experts killed.

Nevertheless, a lot of symbolism is involve in the practice of Feng Shui that may help affect the chi of our surroundings that in turn will have an effect on the different facets of our life.

While Feng Shui promises much in terms of bringing physical/mental/emotional and material balance or blessing to those practice and follow its ‘rules’, we must all remember that Feng Shui is not magic. Although it brings miracles to our lives its still a ‘science’ unto its own.

Feng Shui may have miraculous effects in our lives but its only one face of our life. The Chinese believe that our life is composed of 3 Branches: Tien Ti Ren or Heaven, Earth, and Man. Tien or Heaven’s Luck is something that we cannot change, it is believe that once a person is born his/her life is already pre-destined. But we are always given 2 paths and this is where Ti or Earth’s Luck and Ren or Man’s Luck comes in. Ti refers to the practice of Feng Shui and this is something that we can control by making sure that we are in constant harmony with our surroundings and with this planet. Lastly, Ren refers to the things that we do to our life. This refers to how we manage or on how we control our life. Thus this explains that we cannot completely rely on Feng Shui. We cannot be carrying all the Feng Shui tools/charms available in the market and be lazy. Ren is the luck you create for yourself.
